Armani says no to fur in its fashions

Italian designer Giorgio Armani's use of fur in his fashions could become a thing of the past.After years of disagreements with animal rights activists, the Armani Group has announced that it will go fur-free this year, beginning with its fall 2016 collections. According to Women's Wear Daily, the Italian fashion group made the agreement with The Humane Society of the United States and the Fur Free Alliance. "I am pleased to announce that the Armani Group has made a firm commitment to abolish the use of animal fur in its collections," Giorgio Armani said in a statement released by the Human Society.
