From the outside looking in, London is a very healthy gal. She is beautiful, loving and an overall a dream of a cat!
When we went to spay her, it was noted that she requires FHO Surgery. What is FHO Surgery?
“A femoral head ostectomy is a surgical operation to remove the head and neck from the femur. It is performed to alleviate pain, and is a salvage procedure, reserved for condition where pain can not be alleviated in any other way.”
A surgery like this costs upwards of $2,500. She is on medical hold at this time while we wait for that appointment to be completed.
