September 26 Update…

Good news, Cody is out of the woods! He has beat that nasty parvo virus. He also has an older fractured tibia and fibula but luckily will not require surgery, only rest and lots of TLC from our foster families.

Meet our newest Parvo Positive puppy named CODY. Huge shout out to Lloydminster Animal Hospital as they were closed today for a 40th Anniversary but we/they couldn’t say no. We had to get this pup the emergency care it needed. They left their party and attended immediately to Cody. Sad news – he is quite sick but he’s in the best hands. Thank you to the vet staff there who went above & beyond – they’re sure giving this pup a chance as survival.

Emergency #3 over the last 24 hours. How many puppies do you see? We had to work on transferring puppies into a different foster home, to make room for this new crew. There’s a very limited amount of foster homes that are able to take on this substantial size of a litter.

Emergency #2 over the last 24 hours.

Meet Max. He was attacked by other dogs. His wounds are very infected and he requires extensive medical care. Despite his painful injuries, he’s a really happy dude. He is a great patient and lets us administer his treatment appropriately.
